Inspire Hope Project

Living our vision

In February, 2018 Adventist Health began a collaboration with World Vision International, a Christian humanitarian organization that helps children, families and their communities overcome poverty and injustice around the globe.

As part of the Inspire Hope Project, World Vision works with retail and wholesale businesses to connect surplus items with nonprofits in communities who can distribute them directly to the families in need. Adventist Health identifies those in need and arranges for the delivery of quality goods to those in need.

Champions, an operator of adult group homes in Hanford and Lemoore, was the first partner selected to receive items from the Central Valley’s Inspire Hope Project. Champions provides housing and substance abuse and mental health treatment in separate men’s and women’s homes. We have partnered with over 85 organization in the first year of the project.

Currently Adventist Health receives shipments of goods every month to their warehouse in Reedley and Hanford.
