Anticipating vigorous growth in the future, Adventist Health Central Valley Network has ongoing opportunities for physicians seeking both professional fulfillment and a progressive economic environment. Kings County welcomed a milestone in health care with the opening of Adventist Health Hanford in December 2010. This state-of-the-art accredited hospital features 120 private medical-surgical beds, six 600-square-foot operating rooms, a cardiac cath lab, 26 emergency treatment rooms, complete radiographic imaging, an automated laboratory, 22 intensive care beds, helipad and computerized medical records. Each warmly decorated patient room is equipped with a private bath, and a 42" flat screen with Internet access, affording patients privacy and comfort during their stay. Surgeons have modern equipment, accommodating anesthesia and blocked time with back-to-back operating rooms.

The medical center now anticipates the 2015 opening of a birth center next door. This center will feature all private rooms and a design focused on the patient's experience. It will offer 34 beds for mothers, two operating rooms and a six-bed neonatal intensive care beds that will be served by Children's Hospital Central California.

Adjacent to Adventist Health Hanford is the 60,000-square-foot Hanford Medical Pavilion. The pavilion features physician office space in addition to outpatient surgery, diagnostics, cardiorespiratory and phlebotomy services, as well as a Breast Care Center, with stereotactic biopsy, digital mammography and 3-D ultrasound. The medical campus also contains a cancer treatment center with a 2011 linear accelerator upgrade. Close facility proximity offers patients a hassle-free experience, and physicians easy access to the workplace.

Adventist Health Hanford is also complemented by a freestanding ambulatory surgery center, an imaging center, a sleep lab and a rehabilitation center.

Just north of Hanford are the 57-bed Adventist Health Selma and 49-bed Adventist Health Reedley, serving the people of southern Fresno, eastern Tulare and northeastern Kings Counties. Both hospitals offer emergency, surgical and obstetrics services.
