Walla Walla General Hospital Opens Pain Treatment Clinic

Walla Walla General Hospital has opened a new Pain Treatment Clinic in an effort to better serve its community. The hospital has partnered with physicians from Interventional Pain Consultants in Lewiston, Idaho, to provide treatment for chronic pain conditions. Pain clinic physicians and nurses work together with each patient to develop a personalized treatment program that will most effectively address their needs.

Services are available to patients with acute and/or chronic pain such as back, leg, neck, and arm pain, and pain related to cancer, compression fractures and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Methods of treatment include various interventional medical procedures, counseling and behavioral management strategies, relaxation techniques and/or biofeedback. In the past, patients in the Walla Walla Valley had to make the 200-mile round trip to Lewiston or in order to receive treatment for their chronic pain.
