St. Helena Hospital Opens Trinchero Surgery Center
St. Helena Hospital recently debuted its new Trinchero Surgery Center in honor of Napa Valley residents Louis “Bob” and Evalyn Trinchero. The 12,500 square-foot center features two surgical suites that will be used for inpatient and outpatient surgery, and two special-procedure rooms for minor procedures such as colonoscopy. The side-by-side surgical suites are equipped with the latest LED lighting and integrated ceiling-mounted equipment that floats across the operating field area. There are 10 semi-private patient beds for pre- and post-surgery preparation and recovery. In addition to surgical services, a new MRI machine was installed in the center, replacing the hospital’s mobile unit.
The surgery center was named after the Trincheros in honor of the $2.5 million donation they made to the St. Helena Hospital Foundation’s “Caring for the Future” capital campaign.
