St. Helena Hospital and Redbud Community Hospital Reorganize Executive Team
St. Helena Hospital and Redbud Community Hospital have reorganized the executive team, according to Scott Reiner, senior vice president of Adventist Health and chairman of the joint-hospital boards. The administrative changes are part of the longer-term strategies that will establish programs to stabilize the Napa/Lake County Region’s financial future.
Linda Gibson, RN, MBA, formerly senior vice president of Operations at SHH, is now senior vice president of Operations at RCH. Filling the position Gibson vacated is Guy Qvistgaard, MS, MFT, who most recently was vice president of Behavioral Health at SHH. Guy will continue executive oversight for the Center for Behavioral Health in Vallejo.
Steven Herber, M.D., has been appointed chief medical officer for SHH. Dr. Herber has years of leadership experience, including six years on the Medical Executive Committee and leadership roles in his specialty society. He also serves on the governing boards of SHH and Adventist Health.
Rick Bockmann, MBA, is the new administrator of the California Medical Group, a separate professional corporation, which is a partner with the Napa/Lake County Region hospitals. In his new role, he will lead physician alignment strategies for the region. Most recently, Rick was the CEO of the Bockmann Group but earlier in his career worked at San Joaquin Community Hospital.
In addition to her role as CEO of the region, JoAline Olson has assumed the added responsibilities of developing creative niche destination programs and other partnerships for the Napa/Lake County market.
In order for that innovation to happen, recruitment is underway for a new executive vice president of the Napa/Lake County Region.
