San Joaquin Community Hospital Offers Versant RN Residency Program
San Joaquin Community Hospital recently formed a partnership with Versant Advantage to implement the first Versant RN Residency Program in Kern County. The hospital adopted the program to increase its number of new nurse applicants, bolster the confidence and competence of new nurses and standardize the delivery of quality patient care. Fourteen new nursing graduates began the 18-week program in February. Through the program, senior nurses will help new grads work on their critical thinking skills, coordination of care and time management.
