San Joaquin Community Hospital Constructs Inpatient Burn Center
San Joaquin Community Hospital has started work on a permanent space for its inpatient burn center. The new space will eventually be housed in the southeast corner on of the hospital’s third floor.
Last year, the hospital opened The Aera Clinic, an outpatient burn center. Since then, the inpatient part of the program has been functioning as four beds in the ICU. This fall, the program will move to its permanent home and will consist of four beds, along with a hydrotherapy suite, which will coordinate with the design and feel of the outpatient burn center.
