Regional Vice President Appointed for St. Helena Hospital Region

Marj Simons, RN, has been appointed regional vice president for the St. Helena Hospital Region, according to Terry Newmyer, CEO of St. Helena Hospital, St. Helena Hospital Clearlake and the Center for Behavioral Health. Simons, who will be responsible for overseeing patient care services at the three facilities, will assume her new role in early December.

Currently, Simons is the vice president of Patient Care Services at Walla Walla General Hospital. Under her leadership, focus on the delivery of safe quality care at WWGH has resulted in improved quality scores, which are among the best in Adventist Health and across the nation. In addition, Simons has provided oversight and support for the implementation of Project IntelliCare, the Versant nurse residency program and many other key initiatives at the facility. Prior to joining WWGH, Simons was the regional patient care executive for the Heartland Division of Florida Hospital.
