Adventist Healths Central Valley Network has earned a Silver CAPE Quality Award from the California Council for Excellence (CCE). Collectively, Central Valley General Hospital, Hanford Community Medical Center and Selma Community Hospital were recognized with a sliver-level award for excellence by the 2009 California Awards for Performance Excellence (CAPE). Administered by the CCE, this recognition for quality is the State of Californias equivalent to the national Malcolm Baldrige Quality award.
In earning this award, the Central Valley Network is joining the distinguished ranks of other top-performing businesses in California by demonstrating excellent performance in the following areas: Leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, measurement and knowledge management, human resources, process management and business results.
In 2008, the network won the same award at the bronze-level and is proud to have achieved a silver-level award in 2009.
