Glendale Adventist Medical Center’s Breast Center Awarded for Excellence
Glendale Adventist Medical Center’s Breast Center was recently granted and award of excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR recently designated the hospital’s Women’s Imaging Center as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence for its dedication to improving women’s health by participating in rigorous quality assurance programs. The ACR accredits many different types of tests and equipment within the scope of diagnostic imagine. To quality as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, programs must have earned accreditation in mammography, stereptactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasound.
