Feather River Hospital Recognized for Recycling Efforts
Feather River Hospital has been recognized by the California Integrated Waste Management Board for its recycling efforts. The hospital’s Environmental Services received the special recognition Waste Management Board’s 2008 Waste Reduction Awards Program (WRAP). The hospital, along with other honorees, have diverted more than one million tons of materials from landfills and reduced greenhouse gas emissions by more than one-half million tons of CO2 through recycling efforts.
