Eller Named CEO of Sonora Regional Medical Center

Jeff Eller has been named president and CEO of Sonora Regional Medical Center, according to Larry D. Dodds, executive vice president of Adventist Health and board chair of the 152-bed hospital located in the Sierra foothills. Eller will assume his new position October 1. He will replace Lary Davis, who announced his resignation earlier this summer, effective September 30.

“In addition to his administrative experience, Jeff brings a strong track record in clinical operations,” stated Dodds. “Also, his strength in team building, physician relations and community relations make him an excellent fit for Sonora.”

Currently, Eller is vice president at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, where, since 2001, he has been responsible for numerous departments and initiatives, which represent a combined gross revenue budget of $211 million. Previously, he worked at San Joaquin Community Hospital for 11 years as well as two other medical centers in the Midwest earlier in his career.

A graduate of California State University, Eller received his M.B.A. with an emphasis in Human Relations. He also holds a B.S. from Loma Linda University, Riverside. Eller is a member in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is active in numerous community programs.

Eller and his wife, DeeAnna, have two college-age boys, Eric and Alex, and plan to relocate to Sonora when he assumes his new duties.
