Central Valley Family Health Expands Speciality/Prenatal Services
Central Valley Family Health recently moved its speciality/prenatal clinic in an effort to better meet the needs of patients. The new 5,500-square-foot site has 14 patient rooms, two education rooms, a lab and other offices compared with a total of eight patient rooms in the former space inside the hospital. The specialty clinic and Healthy Beginnings combined saw more than 28,000 visits through November 2007, a 23 percent increase over the same period in 2006. The specialty clinic also added eight physicians in 2007 for a total of 19 doctors and three additional providers, which has generated more visits. Services include surgery, orthopedics, pulmonology, nephrology, gastroenterology, endocrinology and ear, nose and throat care, among others.
