Castle Medical Center Wins Awards and Accolades
Castle Medical Center has recently won several awards for quality and patient and employee satisfaction. For the fourth time, Castle Medical Center has made the list of the top 10 “Best Places to Work” in Hawaii for “Large Companies.” The hospital ranked 8th on the list and remains the only acute care hospital to be included since the awards program was started by Hawaii Business Magazine five years ago.
In addition, CMC recently received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines–Coronary Artery Disease (GWTG-CAD) Gold Performance Achievement Award. The award recognizes Castle’s commitment to quality and success for more than 24 consecutive months in implementing a higher standard of cardiac care that effectively improves treatment of patients hospitalized with coronary artery disease. The American Heart Association will recognize CMC along with other hospitals that have achieved this award in US News & World Report issue featuring “America’s Best Hospitals.”
To round off recent awards at the hospital, Concerro, the parent company for BidShift, recently presented CMC with its Platinum Client Award. The award recognizes the medical center for exceptional results and positive contributions to the health care community in relation to workforce and shift management.
