Castle Medical Center Named as Center of Excellence
Castle Medical Center has been named as a Center of Excellence for its Bariatric Surgery program. The hospital’s Surgical Weight Loss Institute has been designated a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. The designation recognizes surgical programs with a demonstrated track record of favorable outcomes in bariatric surgery. To earn the designation, the hospital underwent a series of site inspections during which all aspects of the program’s surgical processes were closely examined and data on health outcomes was collected.
