Adventist Medical Center Moves into New Emergency Department
Adventist Medical Center recently moved into its new Emergency Department located in the hospital’s recently constructed Pavilion. The hospital’s ED celebrated its move with a short ceremony in late March. Chaplain Pam Strachan gave an inspirational thought and prayer and performed a “blessing of the hands” service for ED staff. Despite the move, the ED had a full day during the transition—seeing more than 130 patients. The hospital will celebrate the official opening of the Pavilion on Tuesday, May 19. A brief ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. followed by tours and light refreshments.
