Adventist Health Celebrates Grand Opening of Paradise Village
San Diego County’s newest senior retirement and assisted living community recently threw open its doors! A festive grand opening event was held for Paradise Village in mid-December. The public was invited to enjoy live entertainment, refreshments and campus tours.
Paradise Village offers a variety of senior housing options as well as wellness opportunities and access to outstanding services and amenities. The new retirement center is designed to offer a spacious village feel for its residents. Currently, the complex is comprised of 142 independent living apartments and 92 assisted living apartments. Eventually, there will be 406 independent units for a grand total of 498 apartments on the campus. Residents can enjoy month-to-month leases, allowing them to move to different units as their needs require.
Much like a vacation resort, Paradise Village residents enjoy a Tuscan-style Plaza, which includes restaurant-style dining, full service credit union, 212-seat theatre, state-of-the-art fitness center, salt-water swimming pool and many other amenities. In addition, Adventist Health’s home care agency based in Chula Vista maintains an onsite office for home health needs.
The retirement center is a joint venture between Adventist Health and Generations, LLC., the same Portland, Oregon-based company that partners with Adventist Medical Center on CherryWood Village and Walla Walla General Hospital on Wheatland Village.
